From this location, you can access information pertinent to your position as a tenured/tenure-track faculty member at Kent State University.  For example, links to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and the AAUP-KSU Constitution are provided, as well as links to membership and fair share fee information and information regarding the various committees that serve your needs.  We would like to encourage you to browse through the site and become familiar with the various activities undertaken on behalf of our faculty.  We would also like to encourage your involvement.  AAUP-KSU is YOU!  The officers, representatives and committee members work on your behalf, and it is our membership that contributes to the setting of goals and priorities.  Your voice is important!

If you are not currently a member, we encourage you to join.  There are links to membership information that make the process an easy one.  Remember that while AAUP-KSU works on behalf of all faculty, it is the members that set the union’s goals and priorities, vote on important matters such as contract ratification and strike authorization, and elect representatives to AAUP-KSU Council.

If you are already a member and are interested in becoming more involved, please contact us.  There are always committees seeking new members.  There are also regular elections for representation to Council and the Executive Committee. We welcome your assistance – there is always work to do!
